 This study analyzed the current status of MCN's industry supporting continuously growing single media creators, focusing on employment, and evaluated the amount and quality of employment according to the industry outlook and government policy. The current status of the MCN industry's labor market is a little over 1,000, centering on major MCN companies, and it is understood that the scale is not yet large. As a result of evaluating the amount of employment, if the MCN industry maintains the current growth rate, it is expected to record a market size of 2 trillion won in 2024, and employment is expected to be in the mid-2,000 range, which is expected to grow close to twice that of the current number of employees. Was estimated. If MCN creates a new profit model, such as live commerce, the scale of the industry is expected to grow by an additional 350-700 billion won, and it is estimated that 2,500-5,000 additional employment will occur in related industries. Regarding the quality of employment, the workforce of the related industry is not long, but the working hours are relatively stable, the wage gap is not large, the gender equality level is stable, and the job security is high, mainly because of regular workers. The wage level was lower than that of the existing broadcasting industry.
